Backers are people who pledge money to join project creators in bringing ideas to life.
Backers offer to pledge with different amount of money and every amount carries a reward, which backers will get after date set for particular rewards.
If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, all backers will be charged at the end of the project. If the fund falls short, no one is charged. Funding is all-or-nothing.
Backers are only charged if the project reaches its fundraising goal. Backers will provide their payment information when they pledge, but they won’t be charged. Their payment will only be collected if, at the time of the project’s funding deadline, the project has reached its fundraising goal. If the campaign hasn’t reached its fundraising goal, backers will not be charged, no funds will be collected.
In some cases we’ll reserve the charge on your card. PartnersInWealth and its payment partners may authorize or reserve a charge on your credit/debit card (or whatever payment method you use) for any amount up to the full pledge, at any time between the pledge and the collection of funds.
Backers can change or cancel their pledge before the project’s funding deadline however, during the last 24 hours of the campaign, backers cannot decrease or cancel their pledge without contacting customer support first — if that action would drop the project below its funding goal. Once the project has been funded, backers can only cancel or change their pledge by making special arrangements directly with the project creator.
The date listed on each reward is the creator’s estimate of when they will provide the reward — not a guarantee to fulfil by that date. The schedule may change as the creator works on the project. We ask creators to communicate with backers about any changes. The creators may need to send backers questions, to collect information to deliver the rewards. For example, backer’s mailing address, preferences of colour, shoe size, etc. Creators will request that information after the campaign has succeeded. To receive the reward, backers need to provide the information in a reasonable amount of time.
A creator is the person or team behind the project idea, working to bring it to life.
Anyone that meets our creator requirements is eligible to launch a project on PartnersInWealth.
Every project creator sets their project's funding goal and deadline. If people like the project, they can pledge money to make it happen. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, all backers are charged when the time expires. If the project falls short, no one is charged. Funding on PartnersInWealth is all-or-nothing.
PartnersInWealth provides a funding platform project creators. When a creator starts a project on PartnersInWealth, they’re inviting other people to form a contract with them. Anyone who backs a project is accepting the creator’s offer and forming that contract.
PartnersInWealth is not a part of this contract — the contract is a direct legal agreement between creators and their backers.
The Creator needs to deliver the reward promised by the specified date and time.
It is the project creators’ responsibility to complete their projects.
PartnersInWealth is not involved in the development or the delivery of the projects themselves.
Project creators can refund individual pledges. After the project has been funded, creators can cancel and refund a backer’s pledge at any time. If they do, they have no further obligation to that specific backer, and no agreement exists between you.
PartnersInWealth will charge fees before putting funds in the creators’ accounts.
PartnersInWealth does not offer refunds. Responsibility for finishing a project lies entirely with the project creator. PartnersInWealth does not hold funds on creators’ behalf, cannot guarantee creators’ work, and does not offer refunds.
Creators must maintain a high standard of effort, honest communication with the backers and a dedication to bringing the project to life throughout the process. If problems arises during the process, project creators must post update notice as soon as possible to explain what work has been done, how funds were used, and what prevents them from finishing the project as planned.
Project creators must demonstrate that they have been honest and used funds appropriately and made every effort to complete the project as promised.
Backers should try to remain patient and understanding throughout the process.
If a creator is unable to complete their project and fulfil rewards, they must offer to return any remaining funds to backers who have not received their reward (in proportion to the amounts pledged), or else explain how those funds will be used to complete the project in some other form.
The project creator is solely responsible for fulfilling the promises made in their project. If they’re unable to fulfil, they may be subject to legal action by backers.
Project creators should be aware that some payment can’t be collected, which might reduce the amount of funding creators get. For example, when a backer’s credit card expires before funding ends and they have provided other payment methods.
Project creators should be aware that they may not be able to collect their funding immediately after the campaigns ended successfully, there may be a delay between the end of a successful campaign and their access to the funds.
